Major Recycling Event

St. Joseph’s MAJOR Recycling Event

For years we have had our Harvest Fest as our big Fall parish event.  COVID has brought on a lot of change, both good and not so good; but here is an opportunity for some fun!!

On Sunday, October 24th from 1-3 pm in our St. Joe’s parking lot,

we are going to sponsor a “TRUNK OR TREAT” EVENT!!! RAIN OR SHINE!

What is a trunk or treat event??  In a nutshell, you decorate your car trunk and fill it with bags of candy to hand out to “trick or treaters of all ages.” (please no tricks!)  Take a minute and Google it!!!  They have great pictures showing all the ways the trunks are decorated!!

In order for this to happen we need you to share your talent and time!

We invite our Parish and the youth to work together and be a part of this special day for people of all ages to enjoy.  If you’d like to join in as a participant, you must register your trunk on the link below by Sunday, Oct. 17th:

This is a chance to bring us all back together again as a parish family and community.  We are excited to offer this event and hope that you’ll attend!   There will also be food & drinks available to purchase, a scarecrow contest and a prize will be given to the favorite trunk!!   This event will be completely outside, rain or shine so no worries about weather related cancellations.  So mark your calendars for this fun time for ALL!!
