TEENFAITH is a program for teens grades 7-8, where we explore our faith through interactive bible study, topical guest speakers and service projects that correspond with our lesson.  This program is led by highly qualified adult instructors, as well as, young youth mentors, who are high school seniors.

There will be opportunities for students to participate in service projects in the community.

Teen Faith Winter/Spring Schedule

Teenfaith Good Going Ons!

We are so blessed here at St. Joe’s to have a thriving Teenfaith Program!  An integral part of our Jr. High program is service.  When our group of about 40 7th & 8th graders meet, we start our day with a prayer, a lesson and we always end with some type of service project.  This year our group is sponsoring a 2nd grade class from Bellevue Elementary and the Reading Group from Rise Above Poverty.  The kids spent the last couple of classes putting together pillows to give to these groups and then put them in bags they decorated along with a coloring book and crayons donated by a parishioner, Suzie Dietz.  This was an extra special service project as it was near and dear to our late Coordinator, Sandy DeCarr.  We are continually amazed at how wonderful these kids are and continue to participate enthusiastically in our faith-based program for our St. Joe’s teens.
We thank our volunteers for this project, Kathleen White, Kelli Barbuto, Lynnie Walker, and Gabby Major.
